It’s got the look and feel of a Japanese joint with the red lanterns, pictures of tori gates and the rows of sushi rolls and sashimi packs. Though like most of the Japanese places in this fair city, the simple café dishes have more of a Chinese edge to what you’d expect from the land of the rising sun. The okayo-don is fine and edible, if you like stir-fried soy chicken and onion with fried egg.
