Rock Kung

Ah Rockers. There was nothing like heading to Rockers for a late night supper feed. I’m not sure how it is during the day, but come dinner and late dinner time this immensely popular Glen Waverley favourite seems like the only restaurant on Kingsway. An old fashion “Honkie” diner that doesn’t seem out of fashion with the crowd that’s young and old.

They say that the roast meats are the best in the south east. And I’d have to agree, the roast pork well seasoned, skin firm and crisp. Roast duck is moist, fat rich yet remaining gamey, Char Sui has a hoisin sweetness to it with a nice glazed finish. Of course this isn’t the only thing people come for, there’s a novel thick menu to go through full of Chinese tucker dishes.

Rockers’ looks might not be in fashion but that doesn’t seem to bother the room of packed constituents competing to be heard over one another. Join those who don’t care and rock in to Rockers for a rockin meal.

3 / 5 yums!

Hi,

I visited your site and found it very interesting. I appreciate the way you talk about food and do the reviews on restaurants. With this, I'd like to give a $10 discount voucher to your site which your visitors could use in their take-away orders placed on Menulog(from 500+ restaurants Australia-wide). All they have to do is just type the voucher code (which I will provide you upon response to this message) at the check out.

Thanks,
Ruby Anne (ruby@menulog.com.au)
