T’Gallant

Become the gourmet Ned Kelly as you enjoy one of Mornington Peninsula’s most beautiful wineries. There’s an outback rustic-ness to the place, the wine tasting cellar door feels like a converted barn perfect for a hideout with plenty of booze, under a tin roof surrounded by tree log pillars and rows of wooden outdoor sets is the relaxed Spuntino Bar for a feed.

There’s no damper or scones, but plenty of baking with the aroma of simple toasted pizza bases from the wood-fire oven wafting from the kitchen. Pizzas not the only thing available, options include a lasagne of layered pasta sheets with a fresh tomato bolognaise that could have done with a bit more meat to satisfy this protein hungry carnivore.

Find your inner bushranger if you’re in wine country, it’ll be criminal not to make a stop at T’Gallant. Such is the good life.
