Spontini Restaurant

We should be glad that some places just refuse to move with the times, no matter what’s happening around. And you fully have to love that Spontini is firmly stuck in the old world. The frontage will have the Godfather theme song ringing in your ears, black and white chequered lino as much traffic as the sticky floors of the old Espy and the menu looks just as old that’s packed with those Western Italian classics. The house pizza Spontini Special has salami, shredded ham, green and red capsicum, onion, pitted olives and prawns on a tomato spread thin crisp base with a healthy raised crust. Jam packed but the freshness of the vegies along with meats that are absent of excess oil make it a healthy tasty offering.

Might cost a bit more than a few dimes and nickels, but the charming staff will leave you have you asking what you’ve done to deserve such genorsity.
