Melbournian’s are spoilt when it comes to places to eat and drink. Little Peninsula combines both with a little café wine bar. Lucky for CBD workers, it’s on the quieter end of Little Lonsdale, making it the perfect place for that 12-5 lunchtime meeting. For those who are a little peckish, there’s a simple menu of paninis, sandwiches and pastas. Butter chicken fettuccine strays away from everything else, an unwise move seeing as the Italian-Indian combination is a little strange. The meatball panini much better, the flatbread is nicely toasted, and in between is crushed tasty meatballs, a sweet tomato sauce and melted cheese. A few of those should get you to the end of the day. And it’ll only cost you just a little.
