Happy Cook

Mighty, Daffy, Huey, Louie, everyone loves the duck. Even more so when it’s done Peking style. For those living in the outer east, Happy Cook is more than happy to oblige, only if you ring ahead to order. The Dewey’s roasted outer layer is very crispy, fat gelatinous, melted to flavour the gamey meat and helps it to stay moist. Wrap a slice in the soft pancakes pre-laid with the cucumber and spring onion slice, drizzle with the hoisin and consume. If there isn’t Donald crack, this is it, highly addictive. In true Asian style, there’s no wastage of the remaining Plucka, your choice to have it as a soup or stir fried with hand pulled noodles.
