Porgie + Mr Jones

Is it possible to be too cute? Porgie + Mr Jones might be, seeing as I just want to bundle it up into a tiny little ball and keep it close to my bosom. It’s an undeniably comfortable environment created for a lazy breakfast or lunch, there’s a blackboard back wall for changing thoughts, the modern loose dangly wiring with exposed globes at the end, old school furniture and older aged street signs all combining to give you this warm fuzzy arty feeling.

They have food to match, offering simple breakfast classics with upgraded twists. Who wouldn’t want creamy dreamy scrambles, pillowy soft, a side of bacon completes the dish. Their take on big brekky served with the usual eggs, bacon, roasted tomato, avocado and the very tender thyme buttered mushrooms. Gourmet baguettes and piadani something for lunch, a smokey sliced chorizo, roasted and mashed sweet potato, fetta and olive tapenade a nice, filling combination.

So you might not be able to take Porgie + Mr Jones away with you, but you can buy a loaf to take home. A breakfast destination to keep close to your chest.
