Boyz 4 Breakie

They are the gentlemen for breakfast. Da Boyz can be trusted to kick start your morning on a good note. The gift shop in one corner detracts from the suburban beachy feel that’s so Mornington bayside and needs the full extent of the upstairs to cram their adoring customers in.

For the fellas, the Boyz Breakie has poached eggs to balance out the fattiness, herbed snags, controlled cooked bacon that’s absent of burning, baked beans, roasted tomato and rye toast (pay additional for the sautéed mushrooms and avocado). There’s a version for ladies that might suggest is lighter, but certainly sounds as hefty coming with scrambled eggs, avocado, asparagus and smoked salmon. Smoked salmon, poached eggs benedict good, the hollandaise creamy and with subtle tang (additional hash browns Maccas style).

For those not wanting breakie, there’s an array of café styled mains, from pastas, risottos and a meat from the major animals. But with breakfast like this, it’s hard to go past these boyz when you’re in the Morningtonhood.

4 / 5 yums!
