Churrasco

Those suffering from a protein deficiency go no further. An all you can shovel into your mouth meat fest awaits at Churrasco in Coogee. Looking more nightclub than eatery, it’s no ordinary cooked animal, they bring Brazilian grilling to the mainstream. The action happens front of the house, racks of skewers rotate over hot coals, cooking and sealing in the juices. An army of waiters manoeuvre between the long rows of communal tables as anxious diners look on jealously as if they have been ignored on purpose, offering beautiful cuts of marinated, herb and spice crusted sirloin, rib eye, rump, chicken and chorizo. Don’t worry if you’re not first served, there’s a seemingly never ending supply coming your way which could lead to meat sweats and hallucinations by the end. Forget your best clubbing rags, wear loose pants.
