Faheem Fast Food

Fast food but not the Golden Arches kind. This Pakistani and Indian eatery at the Enmore side of Enmore Road is said to be a favourite amongst the people who get us home at 4:30am after a wild night out in the Cross. It lays claim to the best tandoori chicken in Sydney. That orangey red chicken marinaded in yoghurt and spices not bad, the absence of moisture in parts of the poultry means marks deducted. Better was the vibrant biryani, healthy pieces of thigh fillet hide beneath the mound of spiced basmati flavoured with garlic, ginger and tomato. Naan is required to mop up the sauce in the beef dopiaza, a dish cooked with herbs, onion, capsicums and spice. You’ll find most of the Indian classics here, but whilst Faheem is not a classic itself, it certainly beats eating at Maccas.
