Ginseng Plus

Another from the ever dependable Pai Lo food court for cheaper cheaper Asian food. Ginseng Plus, with a Korean slant, is probably the healthiest sounding store ever to grace Chinatown, offering herby soup based offerings, presumably including the magical root that’s said to have amazing medicinal and body cleansing qualities. Because my body isn’t used to such things that would help my body, I go for a more conservative springy el dente, sticky translucent potato noodles, warmed from the topping of either a black bean or kim chi gravy with slices of roast pork. Cold corn tea for $1 is a great value proposition, a healthier alternative to the $1.20 ice tea from the Viet shop. Just one of the many things at Ginseng Plus a pit stop for a meal that will help purge the body.

2 / 5 yums!
