Bob’s Kitchen

A bustling south-eastern suburb treasure at the shady end of Kingsway is probably one of the better eateries on the strip. Packed at lunch and dinner, be prepared for a wait when you arrive. The quality of the fried dumplings can vary, but when you tuck into the dry, crisp skinned bottom as the pork juices run over your mouth, you know you’ve hit the jackpot. The rice and noodle dishes aren’t bad either, the spicy chicken rice power packed with preserved chilli, plenty of fat in the soft pork belly on rice though the crispy chicken is just standard and doesn’t excite.

2.5 / 5 yums!
