Lord Nelson Brewery

Could be a set for a movie where sword welding buccaneers and drunken bar fights are common place. Quiet today which gives us every chance to get to the front of the bar for some quality house brews of on tap at this historic site in the Rocks. The beers are the attraction with Three Sheets, its most popular is a light clean ale, Old Admiral bolder, darker and bitter, with the Nelson’s Blood the most interesting, having espresso and dark chocolate notes. A la Merry Poppins, some honest pub fare helps the beer go down, the beer go down. The bistro offers choices such as fish and chips, vegetarian bowtie pasta, steak sandwich, Himalayan Chicken Curry and a very English pie with pea and potato mash with gravy. Eating is cheating though.
