A sacred, forbidden combination, is the
parma and pot.
Think Barbie and Ken.
Noddy and Big Ears.
Pink Power Ranger and all the others.
They all had something going on.
Sitting 25
th on the superparma.com ladder, that’s a pretty big statement.
Those guys have sat through plenty.
First impressions of the Notting Hill Hotel’s interpretation, there weren’t enough chips and the cheese looks a little fattening.
The chips will be the least of your worries because the size of the chicken schnitzel occupies almost the whole of the plate.
Thick slab of white breast meat pounded out and lightly crumbed, it’s shallow fried to a crunchiness that would make Ferran Adria cry.
Sweet tomato and onion is found in the simple marinara sauce atop the schnitzel.
Tasty cheese completes the
parma, grilled to a semi-runny state.
Better balance all that out at the self serve salad bar, but since when did beer and greens go together…
2.5 / 5 yums!
